Washed processing lets the bean’s own flavour shine through cleanly without any fermentation funk. The result is a cup that’s approachable on Monday morning and interesting enough to pour on a slow Sunday.

Brew It Right — Bert’s Baseline

Start Here: Water 195–205°F Ratio 1:16 (22–24 g per 12 oz) Adjust grind to taste
Drip / Pour-Over 1:16 (22 g / 350 g), 200°F, medium grind, ~3:00. Finer brings more cocoa & brown sugar; coarser is cleaner and slightly brighter.

French Press 1:15, 200°F, coarse grind, 4:00 steep, gentle plunge. Rich, round, and very satisfying.
Espresso (house-style) 1:8 in → 76 g out in 27–30 seconds. Syrupy chocolate, toasted nuts, and a touch of smoke.
Cold Brew 1:8 by weight, coarse, 14–16 hours in the fridge. Dilute with water or milk to taste.
