Built as an easy “first cup” coffee, Java Time keeps things clear, zesty, and friendly. Think gentle sweetness, soft chocolate, and a crisp finish that doesn’t hang heavy. It’s the light roast you can drink every morning without having to think too hard about it.

Brew it (Bert’s Java Time baseline):

  • Drip / Pour-Over: 1:16 (22 g : 350 g water), 200°F, medium grind, ~3:00. Slightly finer for more sweetness and body; slightly coarser for extra “bright and breezy”.
  • French Press: 1:15, 200°F, coarse grind, 4:00 steep, gentle plunge for a fuller, rounder cup.
  • Espresso: 18 g in → 36 g out in 26–30 seconds for a bright, sweet shot that cuts nicely through milk.
  • Cold Brew: 1:8 by weight, coarse, 14–16 hours in the fridge; dilute to taste for a light, zesty iced coffee.
