Brew It Right — Bert’s Java Baseline

Start Here: Water 195–205°F Ratio 1:16 (22–24 g per 12 oz) Adjust grind to taste
Drip / Pour-Over 1:16 (22 g : 350 g), 200°F, medium grind, ~3:00. Finer for more sweetness and body; coarser for extra “bright and breezy.”

French Press 1:15, 200°F, coarse grind, 4:00 steep, gentle plunge. Fuller and rounder than pour-over.
Espresso 18 g in → 36 g out in 26–30 seconds. Bright, sweet shot that cuts nicely through milk.
Cold Brew 1:8 by weight, coarse, 14–16 hours in the fridge. Light, zesty iced coffee — dilute to taste.
