It prints the Coo Coo’s smile.
A real C++ program on a tee. Modern syntax, working code, three layers of comedy stacked into eleven lines. The headers are reframed as coffee jargon. The sleep timer waits two actual minutes for the brew. The output? An ASCII rendering of the Coo Coo’s happy face. The shirt is its own source code. Front in terminal green. Back: Computer Bert at his laptop, coding the same thing you’re wearing.
Terminal green print on dark cotton — the code, the way coders see it. Three roasts of dark, no compromise on the aesthetic.
The Design Story
The original Hello World program was C++. The first thing every coder wrote. A rite of passage. This tee takes that ritual and points it at coffee. The headers (`iostream`, `chrono`, `thread`) are reframed as coffee jargon — brew time, baristas. The `sleep_for(2min)` line uses modern C++14 chrono literals to make the program wait two actual minutes before serving. The output? Three lines of ASCII that render the Coo Coo’s happy face. The shirt is its own source code. Coders read it once and laugh; non-coders read the comments and get the joke without needing the technical layer.
This is the first piece in the Tech / Error 404 trio — alongside the 誤差 404 Coffee Not Found Tee (Japanese typography) and $ make coffee Tee (terminal output). Three different angles on coffee meets code — Western, cultural, universal. All three pair with Computer Bert on the back. See all Clothing & Gear →
