One word says it all.
The same bold brush-stroke kanji from the hoodie, now on a garment-dyed cotton tee. Massive front print. Seven colorways. The kind of shirt people ask about — and then you get to explain what 醸 means.
White print on darks. Black print on lights. Garment-dyed means each one has that worn-in feel right out of the bag.
The Design Story
醸 (kamosu) doesn’t mean “brew” the way your coffee maker means it. It means transformation. The slow, intentional kind. The word belongs to sake makers, soy sauce artisans, people who measure craft in seasons instead of seconds. We borrowed it because every good cup deserves that kind of respect.
The tee version puts the kanji front and center — Zen Antique brush calligraphy scaled big enough to read from across the café. Below it: “To Brew.” At the bottom: フロリダ・ブリュー・クルー • Coo Coo’s Coffee. No Bert. No extras. Just the character, the concept, and a garment-dyed cotton tee that feels broken in the moment you put it on. The hoodie version lives on the back — this one faces the world. Bert says: Wear the kanji. Wait for someone to ask. Explain the philosophy. Repeat.
