Sometimes it’s not love at first sip (or sniff), and that’s okay. We want you to feel good about every order that lands on your doorstep.

30-Day Window

Most non-consumable items — apparel, mugs, unused candles & merch — can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery.

14-Day for Consumables

Unopened coffee, tea, and drink mixes must be returned within 14 days of delivery — unopened and in original condition.

Resellable Condition

All returns must be in new, unused, resellable condition. Used, brewed, burned, or opened consumables are not eligible.

Fast Response

Email us and we typically respond within 1 business day with next steps — and a return label where applicable.

What You Can Return

Unopened coffee — within 14 days of delivery
Unopened tea or drink mixes — within 14 days
Unused candles or wax melts — unburned, unwrapped only to inspect, within 30 days
Apparel — unworn, unwashed, original tags & packaging, within 30 days
Mugs, totes & merch — unused and undamaged, within 30 days

Not Returnable

Used or brewed coffee, tea, or drink mixes
Burned candles or partially used wax melts
Final sale, clearance, or items marked “non-returnable”
Gift cards, digital products, and custom or personalised items

Exchanges

Ordered the wrong size hoodie or a scent that’s not your vibe? For eligible items, we’re happy to help you swap for a different size, scent, or product of equal value.

Exchanges available on apparel (size swaps)
Exchanges available on unused merch, candles & wax melts
Item must still be within the applicable return window and in new condition

Refunds

Once your return arrives at our roastery, we’ll inspect it within a few business days. If everything checks out, your refund goes back to your original payment method.

Refund timing depends on your bank or card issuer — usually 3–10 business days after approval.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Return Shipping

Our mistake

If we sent the wrong item or it arrived damaged, we’ll cover the return label — or replace the item at no cost to you.

Change of heart

For fit, preference, or “just didn’t love it” returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

A quick note about what went wrong or what you’d like instead. Photos are super helpful for damaged items.

We’ll confirm eligibility and, if applicable, send a return label along with instructions.

Gift Returns

Returning a gift from a Small Batch of Friends? We can issue store credit instead of refunding the original payment method — so the gift-giver stays anonymous and you still get something you love.
