UGC Terms

1) License you grant us

You grant Coo Coo’s Coffee a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, and transferable license (with the right to sublicense to our service providers and advertising partners) to use, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display your UGC in any media now known or later developed, including our website, emails, social channels, and advertisements. We may edit for length/clarity and crop or color-correct images provided we do not materially misrepresent your UGC.

2) Your rights & permissions

• You own or control the rights to the UGC and have permission from any identifiable persons in it.
• Your UGC is accurate and lawful and does not infringe third-party rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity) or include unsafe/prohibited content.
• You will not submit UGC that includes personal health/financial data, others’ personal information, or unverified medical claims.

3) Attribution

We may display your first name, last initial, city/state, “Verified Buyer” status (if applicable), and any optional public fields (e.g., brew method, fit notes) with your UGC. Some platforms allow anonymous posting—use that option if you prefer.

4) Removal & withdrawal

You may request removal of your UGC at any time by emailing hello@coocooscoffee.com with a link or enough detail to locate it. We’ll remove it from our controlled channels within a reasonable time. Previously distributed materials (e.g., print, already-run ads) or third-party re-shares may not be recallable.

5) Moderation

We may refuse or remove UGC that is off-topic, unlawful, offensive, harassing, spammy, or discloses personal data or medical claims. We may disable further comments on specific posts to protect community safety.

6) No compensation

Submitting UGC does not entitle you to payment. We may provide goodwill coupons or shout-outs from time to time; these are promotional gestures and not consideration for rights granted.

7) Additional terms

Minors

Do not submit UGC featuring minors unless you are a parent or legal guardian and consent to its use under these terms.

Hashtags & replies

Where applicable, replying “yes,” using our designated campaign hashtags, or submitting via a reviews widget constitutes your agreement to these UGC Terms.

Platform rules

Your UGC remains subject to the rules of the platform where you post it (e.g., Instagram, TikTok). If a platform removes or restricts your post, our rights may be limited accordingly.

Conflicts with other terms

These UGC Terms supplement our Website Terms and Privacy Policy. If there’s a conflict, these UGC Terms govern UGC use; otherwise, all apply together.
