Where We Are in the Build

Building a mobile trailer that feels like Coo Coo’s Coffee — not a generic silver box — takes time. We’re sharing honest snapshots so you can follow along, cheer us on, and eventually say, “I remember when that was just plywood and a dream.”

Design Dial-In & Build-Out

Layout, power, water, and workflow are being shaped with real service in mind: espresso, brewed coffee, iced drinks, and a little chaos we can handle with a smile.

What This Page Is

Your Build Log & Photo Journal

Think of this as a living scrapbook: progress photos, small wins, messy moments, and the story of how a mobile trailer becomes a neighborhood ritual.

How to Be Part of It

Cheer, Share & Show Up

Watch for updates here, peek at social posts, and when the doors finally open, bring a friend and make us part of your coffee loop.

Follow the Build Timeline

Every good project has chapters. Here’s how we’re thinking about the trailer journey — from “what if?” to regular mornings parked at your favorite JAX spots.

  1. Phase 1
    Dream, Sketch & Layout

Flow comes first: where the espresso bar lives, where hot water and cold brew live, how we keep service smooth on busy mornings, and how it all still feels like Coo Coo’s Coffee instead of a generic build.

  2. Phase 2
    Guts, Power & Plumbing

Electrical, water, drainage, and the unglamorous backbone that lets us safely brew, steam, and wash dishes while parked at a market or neighborhood stop.

  3. Phase 3
Bar Build, Finishes & Bert Details

Counters, storage, lighting, and all the small touches that say “Small Batch of Friends” — from color and signage to where Bert shows up in the design.

  4. Phase 4
    Test Days & Soft Launch

Trial runs, dialed-in drink menus, checking power and water under real conditions, and making sure we can serve a line of humans without losing our cool.

  5. Phase 5
    Regular Routes & Community Stops

Farmers markets, local events, neighborhood mornings, and surprise pop-ups where the trailer becomes part of people’s weekly rhythm.

Trailer Build in Pictures

As the build moves forward, this is where you’ll see the story in snapshots: empty shell, half-finished walls, espresso bar going in, first test pour, and all the little “it’s really happening” moments in between.

How to Follow the Build (and Be First in Line)

We’ll keep this page updated as we move through each phase, and we’ll share extra photos and short videos on social & email. If you’re local to Jacksonville, this is your heads-up list for where the trailer will land first.

When email signup or text alerts for trailer stops go live, we’ll link them here so you can follow the build and know exactly when we’re brewing near you.

Mobile Trailer FAQ

Will the trailer serve the same coffee that’s on the website?
Yes. The trailer is a rolling extension of Coo Coo’s Coffee, not a different brand. Expect the same beans, the same attention to detail, and the same slightly goofy, “we actually care that your coffee tastes good” energy.
Where will the trailer be based?
The home base is Jacksonville, Florida. We’ll start with local markets, community events, and select neighborhoods — with routes and locations shared here and through our Small Batch of Friends channels.
Will there be tea, lemonade and cold drinks too?
Yes. The trailer build is being planned with space for brewed coffee, espresso-based drinks, iced coffee, tea, and seasonal sips like lemonade — the same “coffee plus” world we’re building online.
Can local businesses or events book the trailer?
That’s the goal. Once we’re through testing and soft launches, we’ll share a simple way for offices, events, and community groups to reach out about having the trailer on-site. When that’s live, it will be linked right here.
