Coo Coo’s Cares

Small acts, real help. We’re setting up simple, transparent giveback campaigns that support families facing childhood cancer—one cozy cup and comfy tee at a time.

Childhood cancer awareness ribbon with heart Bert: “Love is a verb.”

Why we’re doing this

Jeff: Cancer took my mom. My grandmother, my best friend, and others I love have faced long illnesses. I wanted to do something in her honor—and childhood cancer feels uniquely wrong. This isn’t just awareness; it’s action.

We’re building a clear way to turn everyday purchases into practical care for families—through small grants, care kits, and community support.

How it will work

  • Eligible products: Items marked with the Coo Coo’s Cares badge.
  • Giveback: A portion of each eligible purchase will support families via a designated 501(c)(3) partner.
  • Before launch: We’ll post the campaign dates, beneficiary, and what qualifies.
  • Transparency: We’ll publish totals, dates, and recipients on this page after each campaign period.
  • Note: Customer purchases are not tax-deductible.

Childhood Cancer 101 (quick read)

Plain-language snapshots of common diagnoses—what families face, and why support matters.

Leukemias — most common

Blood and bone-marrow cancers. Many kids respond well to treatment, but regimens are long and tiring; side effects can linger.

Brain & CNS tumors

Tumors can affect movement, learning, and behavior. Care is complex; rehab and long-term follow-up are common.

Lymphomas

Cancers of the lymph system. Many are highly treatable; families still navigate scans, meds, and time away from normal life.

Neuroblastoma

Often in very young children. Treatments can be intensive; hospital stays and long recoveries are common.

Sarcomas (bone/soft tissue)

Includes osteosarcoma and Ewing sarcoma. Care may involve surgery and rehab; practical needs add up for families.
