Cold Brew & Iced Coffee — Smooth Sips for Hot (and Busy) Days

This corner of Coo Coo’s Coffee is for people who think better with ice in the glass. From slow-steeped cold brew concentrate to simple everyday iced coffee, these coffees are roasted and blended to stay smooth, sweet, and sturdy over ice.

What Makes a Great Iced Coffee?

Not every coffee loves ice. Here you’ll find beans and blends that keep their flavor when chilled and diluted:

  • Chocolatey, caramelly bases that don’t go sour cold.
  • Enough body & sweetness to shine through milk and ice.
  • Roast profiles tuned for cold brew, flash brew, or classic iced coffee.

Perfect for big-batch fridge brews, iced lattes, and “I need coffee, but it’s 90°F out” afternoons.

Cold Brew vs. Iced Coffee

  • Cold Brew: Brewed slow in cold water for 12–16 hours; lower acidity, rounded sweetness, great as a concentrate.
  • Iced Coffee: Brewed hot, then chilled or brewed directly over ice for more brightness and aroma.

Either way, start with a solid base coffee and you’re most of the way there. The rest is ice, water, and how strong you like it.

Pro tip: For richer iced coffee, brew a little stronger than your hot recipe and pour over plenty of ice. For week-long convenience, keep a cold brew concentrate in the fridge and cut it with cold water, milk, or oat milk to taste.
